Cold email sequence builder

For: GTM Team Β· Growth

Write a 4-email cold outreach sequence for [PRODUCT] targeting [ICP: title + company type].

Context:

– Trigger event / reason for reaching out: [e.g. they just raised a Series A / posted a job for X / published a blog about Y]

– Core value proposition: [VALUE PROP]

– Desired outcome: [book a call / start a trial / reply to learn more]

Email 1 β€” Day 1 (Initial reach out):

– Subject line (6 words max, no spam triggers)

– Body (80 words max): personalised opener, one-line value prop, soft CTA

Email 2 β€” Day 4 (Value add):

– Body (60 words max): provide a resource, insight, or relevant stat β€” no pitch

Email 3 β€” Day 9 (Social proof):

– Body (70 words max): brief case study or result, tie to their situation, CTA

Email 4 β€” Day 15 (Break-up email):

– Body (40 words max): permission to close the loop, genuine curiosity if not right time

Rules: no buzzwords, no “I hope this finds you well”, no paragraphs over 2 lines.

Personalisation at scale framework

For: GTM Team Β· Growth

I send 200+ cold emails per week and need personalisation at scale. Product: [PRODUCT]. ICP: [ICP].

Design a personalisation framework that works within my sending volume:

1. Tier 1 (Top 20 accounts) β€” fully bespoke: what research to do (5 min/prospect), what to personalise (opening line, pain reference, social proof match)

2. Tier 2 (Next 80 accounts) β€” semi-personalised: define 3–4 “personalisation variables” I can pull from LinkedIn or news (e.g. recent funding, job posting, tech stack)

3. Tier 3 (Remaining volume) β€” persona-level personalisation: write 3 different “pod” templates for 3 sub-segments of my ICP

For each tier:

– Opening line formula

– Which variable to personalise and where to source it

– Template with [VARIABLE] placeholders

Also write a SOP for a VA or SDR to execute this system.

Subject line battle pack

For: Growth Β· GTM Team

Write 20 cold email subject lines for [PRODUCT] targeting [ICP].

Give me 5 in each category:

1. Curiosity β€” create an open loop without clickbait

2. Pain-specific β€” name a problem they recognise immediately

3. Result-led β€” a metric or outcome that’s relevant to them

4. Social proof β€” name-drop a company or use a stat

5. Direct / low-pressure β€” plain, honest, human

Rules:

– 6 words or fewer each

– No emojis, no ALL CAPS, no “Quick question” or “Just following up”

– Each should work without the preview text

– Suggest which 3 to A/B test first and why

Also note: which subject lines would NOT work for enterprise buyers vs. startup buyers.

Reply handler scripts

For: GTM Team Β· Solo Founder

Write response scripts for the 5 most common replies to my cold emails. Product: [PRODUCT]. ICP: [ICP].

For each reply type, write:

– A natural, non-pushy response (100 words max)

– The goal of the reply (move forward / re-engage / close for meeting)

– A subject line if starting a new thread

Reply types to handle:

1. “Not interested” β€” try to understand why without being pushy

2. “Send me more info” β€” without sending a 10-page PDF nobody reads

3. “Not the right time, follow up in 3 months” β€” how to stay warm without being annoying

4. “We already use [COMPETITOR]” β€” acknowledge, then open a gap

5. “Who gave you my contact?” β€” honest, disarming response

Tone: conversational, human, low-pressure. Not salesy.
